This game was awful, I'm sorry. If it weren't for the badge of the day, I wouldn't have even bothered completing it, the final boss was THAT ridiculous.
Daniel_S, the reason why the answer is 33 is because it asks how many you need to pull out in order to GUARANTEE that you get two different gems. Although unlikely, it is theoretically possible to pull out 32 of one color and not a single one of the other color.
It seems to me that, at least on the rescue missions, the target indicator doesn't function properly. It points at the bases of civilians that you've already rescued.
Well, the music didn't seem to fit with the general theme of the pictures, i.e. warriors/battles. But it was rather relaxing, which is good for these sorts of games. I must say, though, that many of those pictures didn't exactly look kid friendly. Great artwork, though.
This is one of the few games I've actually continued playing after having gotten all of the badges. It's so simple, and yet so addicting. And I could listen to the music for hours, despite the fact that it's rather repetitive. You have something great, here.
Along with being able to play additional sound files, it'd be cool if we could have, say, multiple types of ships (say, one for slower songs, one for fast paced ones, etc.) since I have trouble hitting notes on some of my metal songs lol. But other than you you have a great concept and I look forward to seeing more.
The music alone was enough to make me love this game, but the unique way of having the narrator give you a storyline (sort of) as well as teasing you whenever you die, was really entertaining. I tip my metaphorical hat to you, good sir!
Actually, vesperbot, if you can time it JUST right, you COULD try to use it right before the day ends. I've done that before and gotten the medal for it.
Great ideas! Thanks :)
