Interesting concept, combining a Deckbuilder and an RPG. I would have given some way to remove cards, and make more enemies do something like the Artist's Block the final boss can do where they mess with your cards.
I was planning to add a card called "forgotten", only can be used when your deck is above 40, you can remove a card with draw, redraw all or block effect.
So why, of all games to base it off of, did you pick Mabinogi? I'm not bashing your game, I honestly want to know why the pick, I personally love Mabinogi even if I have no idea how to be good at it.
Whoops, I did my math wrong on your height. I forgot that I divided by 11 to get your width. Being about twice as tall as you are wide, you are 109015439.273 meters tall, which, while giant, is not near the width of the tower itself.
The final upgrade says "Your boots are already faster than their own shadows". In order for this to be true, you must be moving faster than the Speed of Light. At the highest boots upgrade, it takes two seconds to move from one side of the tower to the other. In one second, light moves 299,792,458 meters (source: Yahoo Answers). This means that the tower is 599,584,961 meters wide. The screen is 11 Knight Widths long. Your character is 54507719.6364 meters wide. He is about twice as tall as he is wide, making him the same height as the tower is wide. You are a giant and this tower is even bigger.
How do I rank Brilliant on Level 12? I am perfect until the last Ninja Champ, who cloaks instantly via a hunter tower, then gets all the way to my first gem before he uncloaks.
Dev1: Hey, let's make Buritto Bison, but in an office!"
Dev2: Okay, but let's strip out all the character and originality, and make a generic launch game!
Dev1: Okay!
And so they made My Dear Boss. A solid game that's in serious need of some ability to actually make an impression on you.
I was expecting Danmaku, but maybe that's just from playing on Easy first. Either way, the game is very fun, slightly challenging even on easy, and I was always kept wondering how the boss was going to attack next. 5/5.
1/5. Paying for a game? No thank you, I go to Kongregate for free games. I don't mind using Kreds to buy Kongai packs or whatever, but I don't want to have to buy games.
Wow. Wow indeed. The story is amazing. The last level was creative. I love the gameplay. Level pack? Sequel would be pointless, but a level pack would be nice.
This genre needs a name, so I'm giving it one. Pit Fighter. This, Amorphous+, and all it's kind. As far as they go, this is a pretty good one. I like the upgrades.
I love this game. I like the way some of the levels are realy easy and fluid, while the others are hard and once you get how to do it, they're just as fluid.
