I think you misunderstood, qazzaq. We can have 0 cards in your hand, we just can't draw again. Of course, if his deck has 1 card and his opponent has 7 cards in hand, the SoB should make him and the opponent draw 1 card each, and his deck would be at 0 cards, making him lose next turn. That's the bug he was referring to, as it seems he dies at "0" cards in deck, and not at the turn where he draws into the "0" card deck. TL;DR -- When you deck out you actually have -1 cards in your deck, OR decking out means drawing into your 0 card deck. He was talking about dying after drawing the last card in deck, and not the number 0 one.
Read my post again, chicken. If a card is in enough decks that I need to actively try to counter it to survive, the card is OP and is making the meta game not balanced.
PS: By next patch, consider -any- future patch. Slightly, yes, but SoFo is going to be nerfed, or this is Shards the Game, and not Elements The Game. I should also add that you cannot deny SoFo is running rampant on every single deck out there, and that is NOT balanced.
@ChickenMayBite -- I do not mean to throw out stuff here, but it seems people upvote you like lemmings. I'm sorry, but shard of focus IS OP. And yes, there is a nerf declared to it. There's a very simple answer to "why hasn't it been nerfed?" Zanz will nerf it in the next patch, when he has time. SuperNova was OP for about a year, if not more, until zanz nerfed it with singularity. It takes time to decide how to nerf a card. Worry not, everyone knows that this card is OP. It is useless to say it is not. There is a thing called "Metagame". I, myself, think that when a card needs to be in a deck for it to be competitive (all decks have SoFo now), that card is OP, PERIOD. A card should not be needed into a deck to make the metagame or the duels more fair. If that card is present in all decks, works in all of them (sofo does), and can power some decks to the point where they're stronger than others because of that single card, that card is OP, period. SoFo is OP, and that is the truth.
@Simla - Updates will come when they have to come. This game is run completely on zanz' patience and is developed as his pet project, and he works on it whenever he has free time and -feels like it.- Don't worry, we have plenty of ideas in elementscommunity.org , but coding and implementing them, and not making them broken, is the real challenge here.
@ShaneG9 -- My tip is to mess with your deck. Find the weakness of your opponent (in this case AI3) and mess your deck to your liking. And if someone posts a link to you with good decks and the like, say No. Creativity for the win.
New weapon = Bad, they'd be overpriced. Heavy Armor and Stun is already knight. Sorry, Bullet -- that idea is bad on the start and a copy of knight after.
It's not that we don't take constructive criticism, is that generally raters are lemmings. People just follow the "famous" guys in elements around, so if qazzaq posts saying that he voted down a comment most people will vote down that comment. The way or the other the fact is that criticism is not exactly constructive. If you're complaining that the match is won in 5 turns then use a control deck. Build your own deck and make your own strategies. Stop using the mf'ing shards that are apparently the whole new meta - using them just makes it so you jump in the meta and of COURSE that it will then become boring. Swim against the current. Create a deck, use it, make it good and prosper. Hell, have some PVP duels banning all shards and some miscellanea cards so you can see how fun it is. Don't be a lemming.
It's fun how you guys rate comments. A one timer says this is the best game ever... well fruck. him, let's vote down, shall we? C'mon people. READ, and vote.
As a rotmg forumer, I'd rather they spam the comments in kong with their suggestions than spam the idea section with their (relatively bad) suggestions. Not like they're gonna be heard here or there anyway.
Yeah. This game is almost perfectly balanced. Right, SoSac without purify? Right, SoFo? Right, other stuff that has been nerfed?.... Just because something has a counter does not mean it is balanced, nor that the game is perfectly balanced. The moment a deck requires a card to counter another that is dominating the meta, that is unbalanced. The moment a card is overused in several decks, that is unbalanced. If you cannot compete against that card without inserting the one counter in your deck, that is unbalanced. Do not say that it is balanced 'cause it has counters, but say it is unbalanced due to the lack of proper or sufficient counters.
The only problem with the rating system are the lemmings in kong. 3 thumbs up? RAIN THUMBS UP ON IT. Three tumbs down?RAIN THUMBS DOWN ON IT! That's kind of annoying. It makes me wonder when my comments get rated up if it's just a bunch of lemmings or if people actually stopped to read and vote. (In a off note, I never vote on my own comments...)
