I don't know why, but I couldn't see the darker shade of red unless i turn the gamma on my graphics card all the way down (I didn't realize this until level 19)
I like the idea of the exponential progress display, but it doesn't actually seem to correspond with "progress" right now, as it gets too high too quickly. Maybe try a different function or change some coefficients to make it seem more natural?
I agree, the part i was stuck on was finding titanium.. I had to go to a level dangerous for me in order to find it, and the upgrades to make that level safe for me needed titanium.
the "strongest" setting available is still weak compared to the platform jumping. a lag spike killed me at 90%, and i'm too frustrated to play again, because i'm not any stronger than i was when i died.
doing the 2nd half was really hard at first, but now i'm much better at it! it takes a different kind of logic, which is hard to get used to at first. I feel smarter now though :)
This game is great, but why is a maxed-upgraded character not able to beat the final boss?? There need to be more upgrades or something. After losing to the boss 20 times now, I can't upgrade myself to get better. Even with awesome nicely timed combos, I still end up losing in the end..
