It might just be me, but there is a glitch where sometimes my guy gets stuck going in one direction, and the only thing I can do to undo it is to hit that direction key. Having to go in the direction that I want to go away from first has killed me a few times.
Don't let the church or the chosen ones be established! They are nothing nut trouble later in the game! Near the end, they kept celebrating which does two things. One, it means the whole day is wasted and no work is done, and Two, it has a good chance of killing one of your own people! I went from 33 people to 25 in about 14 turns! It also took five days to do a two day mission! Don't let them establish the church!
