kinda buggy...caused a crash while escaping the jail and even though i had manually saved there was no save file when i restarted. also, item banner mysteriously disappeared once walking from one scene to another and then reappeared about 10 minutes later.
FANTASTIC 5/5: it would be even better if there were a quicker way to use an off-hand item like in the original Zelda. I found myself NEVER using the boomerang of anything other than the sword unless I absolutely needed to. Oh, and it was kind of annoying to have to farm for gold at the end just to buy that useless shield to get the last badge.
there needs to be a way to quickly select ranged vs. melee units. I'm always trying to send in the melee carefully and control the position of the ranged offense...
BADGE RUSH: 1) Quickly go through story mode, ignore secret passages 2) Use x-ray found in stage 7 to go back through story mode to get all hearts, 25 red crystals 3) Play tadpole game, 1st max collection skill - you will gain 1000+ gems per minute, focus on ignoring the other tadpoles 4) Keep playing to upgrade all guns to max 5) Beat bosses 6) Use gun #4 to do 2000m run
I don't understand how to get the hard badge...even with only the artillery and the rusty (non-upgraded) nail I end up $1400 short at end of day 11 with only having spent $1000 on health, using the artillery exclusively for red golems...
fun, great concept...hate how the houses keep getting in the way though. Can they be either thrown off screen or actually do some damage to the villagers? thx...
I really enjoyed the previous versions of this game, was looking forward to it. Unfortunately even on low quality it is unbearably slow, took me 15 minutes to kill the first 2 enemies in a dungeon. That's when I quit.
Don't worry, you'll be outfitted with the best aircraft the airforce has to offer but they all have the same crappy maneuverability. No, there is no way to change this. And, no you can't get rid of these useless 100 bombs you have stashed on board that would reduce aircraft weight and speed things up a bit.
