This is a cool game - could possibly be improved by multipliers other than just "x10". That would give more options and more to think about; I rarely found myself build more than ~20 from anything except basic blocks
This is a good puzzle game and fun to play but has a couple of flaws
1) Too many early levels; before new piece types come in the game is linear, trivial and slow
2) Confusing colours/patterns; perhaps have more colours than red just red? By level 40 the layers of red pattern are basically unreadable. More than once I was stuck purely because I couldn't see that a piece had a symbol buried under another one which just leads to random clicking.
Great game - only recommendation would be to have a different key for selecting dialog options than skipping text. I clicked the wrong option in the murder investigation several times because I wasn't expecting a choice to come up!
I really love the concept and it's very well executed.
The symbols for the 'multi' squares are all a little similar though and can be hard to tell apart would be my only criticism. Maybe use numbers, colours or different symbols in the boxes?
A couple of additional controls/features would take this from being an excellent game to a game that was a delight to play
- "mouse drag" clearing - being able to clear an area by dragging your mouse across it rather than clicking cell by cell.
- "two button clear" being able to clear all surrounding squares by clicking both mouse buttons (as in minesweeper)
- Auto-clear on level up - if you mark a square (as a 3 say) then when you hit that level those squares should auto clear
They are only minor additions to what is a great concept but would bring the game to a new level :)
I loved continuity, it was executed much more simply and worked better as a result. I could barely see what was going on, zooming out and seeing all the rooms I couldn't tell which I was in let alone what I was aiming for or how to plan a route there!
Great concept, but becomes too frustrating too quickly. There are too many legitimate answers that don't appear making it feel more like a "guess what the coder was thinking" game rather than a "think about things logically" game
Great game - though it would benefit from being able to use buttons (maybe < and > or 2 letters like J,L) to shift round 90 degrees lost track of the amount of times i was doing a tricky jump/rotate over an enemy only for my mouse to go out of the window and bring up pause...
Do you have anything to do with PONOS?
They have a virtually identical game for the iPhone called Mr Space!!m (including the same green and grey colour scheme)
Nice simple puzzle game, not aimed at an adult audience.
A nice addition would be a go to next level button, rather than having to go through the menu each time.
Wonderful game - fiendishly tough 5/5
a nice addition would be double click to restart? I accidently restarted a couple of times just when i was nearly complete on a long level...
decent idea and well exectuted - does it need to be 3-d though? Could have realised much more simply in 2-d and made much less frustrating as it can sometimes be hard to exactly line everything up...
Hi, thanks for your suggestion. 'Multi' squares also differ by the position relative to the rhombuses, not just shape e.g. top-right, bottom-left...
