I love the game, but I really really wish that there wasn't a 999 limit for power. It's extremely frustrating when my production of energy during the day doesn't carry over to the night when I use loads of spotlights.
I understand that this prevents spotlight spamming, but I wish there was a battery building you could buy to circumvent that. A natural limitation for that would be the amount of metal you have, preventing total spotlight spam. But this 999 limit makes solar almost meaningless for defending with spotlights.
I also like the idea of reducing smog by planting trees, as Telapoopy quoted woodchuck308. That would make it much more flexible in terms of using fossil fuels. But I suppose that may defeat the point of renewables...
Oh, and I loved that while nothing had changed, everything had changed. Pretty grand work there. And is it just me, or did the text boxes at the end become brighter? Love the tiny details that you add, and that you address that the alchemist still had her bottle, lol
I definitely have to agree with the others, this was beautifully written. Concise and to the point, there weren't any unnecessary words. Even without names, I definitely felt connected to the characters, as simple as they are. Although the beginning was slow and I was about to give up, I'm glad I didn't, and I understand you want to highlight the repetitive nature of the main character. The only "glitch" I've found is that sometimes the that would pop up when you can interact can sometimes be backwards, but that's probably just an issue with sprite detection after coming back from adventuring. Regardless, fantastic game!
Woo! Won with one week left! Good game, loved the idea. Only wish that there was a more clear definition of what the special abilities did. However, managed to win without using any of them, having lvl 11 strength, maxed cardio, and maxed technique
Poor grey, they just sit there, doing absolutely nothing to protect themselves while all the other colors brutally massacre their armies. Makes you wonder how they got all that land in the first place.
