I loved the music. Very Psychonauts-esque. Very fitting. Disliked jump. Too jumpy. The mirror image level and the TV screen level lagged, but that's my computer's fault mainly.
Quite similar to a game called Motherload I've played before. I wasn't expecting the ending to be so happy honestly. Its a seemingly innocent pixel game on the internet, so I kept expecting it to go the whole moody indie game route.
As much as a liked the art, music, and title, the game itself was really buggy and without much challenge. I died really early the first two attempts I made, and then I got 10 million on the third try. I expect more polish out of a jmtb02 game.
I really liked how even though its a prequel, the developer went with completely different aesthetics and gameplay, even following a different character. Its unexpected but it works much better than a "true" prequel probably would have.
I'm going to have to join in with the few who don't understand what the big deal is about this game. I can see why one would praise the interface, as it is very clean and polished, but so is my toaster's interface. Like my toaster, what this game is lacking for me is the most underappriciated aspect of game design: fun. Originiality aside (albeit a spurious originality), If a game isn't fun, it isn't good. I feel slightly disconcerted seeing so many 5/5 posts when I fail to see much redeeming quality in this game.
Wow. This is wonderful. One of the best RPGs I have ever played. The humor and storyline are perfect, and the gameplay is great. I just wish there weren't so many uncultured people out there who rated this low just because they are too lazy to think or there aren't any badges to give them meaningless points to boost their insignificant ranks. This game deserves far better treatment than it is being giving. A very well-deserved 5/5.
I beat the spartan level and nothing happened, so I decided to keep the browser open while I ate dinner. I came back an hour later and I had the Ticket and Challenge
UGH! I go through ALL that trouble and after 8 continuous hours of gameplay, I FINALLY burn the rope, only to find out that the stupid chat light was RED the WHOLE TIME. *_*
