The griffin in the temple of solaris or whatever that first temple at the beginning of the game is called is too powerful. All the enemies get too powerful too soon. Being forced to die over and over again is not fun. Thanks for wasting my time.
Thanks FrRi2Mi. That aiming trick really worked well. That's the closest I've ever gotten to breaking 1500 kills.
Goal Checklist 1,500 kills – "Black hole" combos will not record kills. [Best so far: 1455]
I'm plalying the pentagram map on extreme mode. I've been having a problem with my nuke towers. When I reach 1.100 + kills the nuke combo no longer fires. Instead I get landmines and groups of skinny rockets; both of which are far less effective than nukes. The combo only tower hasn't yet come available at this point in the game. When this happens, I get over run by the creeps and it's game over. I've tried setting up groups of tazer towers to slow them down long enough to take them all out, but it's not enough. So far the best I can do is 1.400 or so kills. Any one have any ideas on how to over come this? I really want to break 1.500 kills or better. The "To The Extreme Badge" is the only one I don't have for this game.
The only part of the game I would change is this NO TIME LIMIT. That damn countdown doesn't pause during the random battles; and what's worse, the option to flee from battle is removed once the countdown starts. Four out of five until this is fixed.
Nice game, but it would be nice to have a wave assult function. Characters summoned into a holding area off screen where they are imune from attack and are unable to attack enemies untill the wave is called out by the player. Also an offensive, standard and defensive setting for each character type would be helpful. Offensive setting would send characters forward, ignoring any enemies behind them. Standard setting would see characters behave as they currently do. Defensive setting would see characters hold their ground, attacking approching enemies and ignoring any enemies behind them.

I hate to sound like a sookey baby, but the upgrades are just too hard to get. Maybe increase the starting gold amount? Also a reset gems button would be nice. It could cost 25% of full manna perhaps. A reset skills option would go a long way towards increased playability as different skill settings could be used on different levels. All these things together would make the game less frustrating the first time through. Without these additions I can only rate the game 3/5.
It is impossible to get the type of high grade pure gems needed to pass the epic levels. Manna regeneration is too slow. Cost of towers and trenches increases with number previously purchased. Strategy guide lacks clarity. Fix these things and 5/5; for now zero.
