This game is a fail. The towers only upgrade after they get xp and yet it still costs $$$$ to get the upgrades. More powerful towers need to be purchased using real world $$$$. Those of us with money to burn can buy all the super towers and get way farther than those of us who spend our money on frivilous things like rent, hydro, car.
I agree with JMOCKSHEPARD. If the guy you targeted is killed by an aly before you get your attack, you should get to attack one of the remaining targets.
A well thought out game except for one thing: Tower Targeting Controll. I t would be kind of nice to be able to decide weather a tower targets strongest, fastest, nearest, slowest, farthest, weakest enemies and have the option of changing targeting on the fly.
Another epic failure. Epic war 2 had everything right. Go back to that style of defender. Epic War 3-3 are a waste of gaming time. What's the point of having units that run on auto? Why didn't you fix the major flaw of units not advancing and retreting when told to? What's the point of earning xp we can't use? Why can't players set up waves of our own? Fail! Fail! Fail! I'm done wasting my time. No more Rudy Sudarto games for me. They have all become an epic waste of time.
A spawn limit I can understand, but why does it also have to limit my troops to what I have the money for? Either a money limit or a spawn limit, but not both. 2/5 because player is too limited and enemey is waaaaay over powered. Too many limitations on what the player can to.
A fun twist on this would be to have the option to play as either hero or villain. build a mecchha hero to stop the monster or build a monster to destroy the world. Also a two player version where one player is the monster and the other player is the hero would be fun too.
Reasons why I don't like this game:
1. Upgrades don't seem to do anything
2. Not enough manna generation
3. No troop upgrades for me but enemies keep getting stronger.
4. If my generals get killed off, I can't summon. Enemy doesn't seem to have this problem.
5. Enemy troops organized in precise waves while my troops must attack en masse with their general.
6. Enemy replaces buildings instantly while I have to wait for manna generation.
Fun, but needs improvement. Upgrades should be cheaper, towers should fire faster (or the germs move a bit slower?) and there should be a skills upgrade option between waves. Over all, I rate it a 2/5.
Why do my ships need to circumnavigate the planet before attacking the selected target? Is this some sneaky way of letting the enemy get their defenses ready?
Bumping into a gate shouldn't count towards hull damage. Otherwise, good game. 3/5 or 4/5. I'll know for sure after a bit more playing time. Not very realistic, though. I mean, seriously, who uses an actual rocket to get into space? Everyone knows it can only be done by sling shotting a hedge hog through the center of the earth. O.K. so I'm not very original; so sue me.
;)
That gives me an idea for a game. Player is a lawyer tossing brief cases at corrupt judges who fight back by throwing gavels. Damn! Wish I knew how to programme in flash.
The only idea I can come up with to improve this game is to make it possible to controll who you shoot at. Something like choosing target by clicking on it or setting shooters to attack fastest, weakest, slowest, strongest, farthest, nearest. Other than that, great game.
Great game concept. Fun soundtrack. I just wish there was some other control method since I only have a track pad. I suggest right button to drop/detonate a bomb and left button to shoot. It would also be fun to have a temporary missile power up. Still, lots of fun as is. By the way, Kongregate members don't always hate your games.
Okay. I quit. I'm NOT playing this game any more untill I get a map that WORKS!!! How the hell am I supposed to find my around in the dark temple if I can't see and the map shows nothing? screw this!!!
