earlier games i've played in this series have been enjoyable. this one is unplayable by comparison. confusing interface, constant pop-ups... no thank you.
note to dev on one balance issue: gyms become irrelevant by shortly after the block upgrade becomes available to the shield. compared to Shield IV and Shield V, it's barely a drop in the bucket, yet still costs a significant amount of wood to build one (for practically no effect) in comparison to the cost of a shield upgrade.
"fun" game, though. and by fun, i mean i can't stop playing, even though i should. thanks? :)
i've got 5000 (five thousand) land and only 5 houses? there's got to be some way to increase the odds of housing being built. this is just ridiculous. (also, this is a strangely addictive game - nice work!)
the movement controls feel unnatural and clunky, especially for a platformer variant. i'm regularly falling off of ledges instead of jumping to the next platform - frustration should come from the difficulty of the puzzles instead of the character's apparent unwillingness to move as commanded. in your future games, please put a bit more polish on the movement. otherwise, great concept.
much too easy... there's no reason to be able to make it to mars in 2 days with minimal effort on my second time playing. my nephew might enjoy it, and it's still a cute game. cheers.
for me, game freezes consistently after reemus blocks cave entrance and hides (using XP/IE 7/Flash 10). had another glitchy screen when reemus walked right and i immediately clicked on restart. i love the reemus games. thanks for making them, zeebarf.
so... it's not an easy game to get the hang of. so... newtonian gravity in multi-planetary settings is counterintuitive. if anything, the physics are too realistic for casual gameplay. "nerfing" newton's laws could make the gameplay easier, but that's not quite the point. also, to my esteemed colleague, mr. murkyhawk : different rules are not being applied. the force of gravity DOES change as a function of distance.
concerning gravity of a planet vs. its size: gravity is a function of mass. planets made of denser materials (iron, for example) will exert more gravity than a similarly sized (and even larger ones) that are composed largely of gases. i haven't played enough yet to see if the color of the planets is a good indication of their density, but i have a sneaking suspicion that this is the case (and is probably explained in an unlockable tip - or should be). i agree that it could use an in-game button to exit to main menu. fun game!
