This game is completely amazing! The depth, the precision, the goddamn trees! I have never, ever, EVER, played a better snowboarding simulator. Hey, what's this "Play Now" button?
A ton of fun, but I have to wonder, is it even possible to finish on hardcore mode? I started out on hardcore, and after losing in the first dungeon or two, I switched it to casual to find that there is a training mode button which made winning possible.
Make that 4 times in a row... smashed by the damn blizzard... Oh and + if you think the brontosaurus should actually be useful... at the moment all he does is slow you down.
Ya know Saneo123... It wasn't so long ago that there was no such thing as microwaves and T.Vs and computers... but I bet you use all of them and don't even consider the "challenge" that life used to have to offer... Oh and btw, this game needs a save function :)
My first ever 5/5... I have to say I think it's the story that made the grade. The gameplay was solid, but the story is what really got me. Thanks for this wonderful game... *sniffle*
I'm not entirely sure, but I think my mouse movement is off in this game somehow... I play a lot of reflex based games (target shooting) but I seem to be horrible at this because of mouse lag (or smoothing or something >.<) It's driving me crazy. 3/5 (not because of my problem but because it's cool, but it has been done to death and there is nothing unique about this (except for penguins))
Pretty fun at first... I did manage to beat it... The final level was completely frustrating. The game's puzzle elements were excellent, and the fact that you could move your sprites was excellent. Unfortunately ALOT of it seemed to rely on luck... With a puzzle game like this I can understand using timing as a gaming mechanic... But to be off by .000000000000000001 seconds and completely lose is enough to make me chuck my laptop through a window.
On to the better portions... I thoroughly enjoyed figuring out the puzzles... I also enjoyed the music. So 3/5. Excellent idea, poor execution.
PS: To anyone thinking about making a game like this... One of the things that drove me crazy was that if i held down the mouse button as a block passed over it... it wouldn't disappear... I had to literally attack the damn block with my cursor before it was gone. So yeah. Less twitch and more puzzle please :)
