looks like it could be cool but as is, there's an awful lot of different buttons to be pressing on one keyboard, and it's pretty laggy (for me at least) exasperating that issue. Also the stamina mechanic is more of an annoyance and frustration than an interesting challenge component, most of the time it just means just sitting and waiting for no real reason. On top of that having because of how the game focus/mouse focus is I can't even look at something else while I'm waiting for the stamina to refill since to do anything I have to press escape to get control of my mouse back. Finally, I think the obelisks should always refill health/stamina when you touch them, not just when you activate them, since you'll be returning to that point if you die anyway this could save on some respawn waiting.
Hey thanks for the feedback. F and L key functionality has been replaced by W. Currently working on a key rebinding system. I'll see what I can do for the stamina regen and the checkpoints.
Edit: Controls should be better now after the update.
decent escape game, overall I liked the puzzles. My only issue was the Cat puzzle. I had the right pattern but couldn't figure out the orientation of it. Honestly, I'm not sure why the orientation that did work was the solution.
What's with the screen within a screen going on? Also it'd be nice to actually have some of the control instructions told to us rather than just "In game." Thirdly, the screen just randomly went black after I got the key and went through the gate. The music's cool though.
It was a fun game with great challenging puzzles. Until level 43 when it becomes a frustrating side-scroller requiring precision jumps where any slight mistake meant restarting and having to skip through the boss's dialogue again. 3/5
[vaguely spoilery] I find interesting how we're given the association of Green with the past and Red with the present, then the two contestants with a Green color scheme focus on the past. Beth drawing so much on her past experiences to help in scenarios, and as far as I can tell with Aether as a psyche major wants to know people's pasts to understand them better. Then Rae and Liza are very focused on the moment in front of them what's going on in the now, Rae seems to have cut away his past and doesn't want anything to do with it, and Liza seems to have had very little in the way of practical experience such that she seems to almost lack a past. I'm probably reading too much into things but from what we have so far if it was intentional it's a really cool detail!
pretty nice short game, kinda odd that we're calling objects with equal sides and 90 degree angles rhombuses but sure, interesting puzzles. I'm not sure I'd want to buy a full game of it though

dang, my best run so far with Storm Mage cut short cause I got trapped by an invisible "electricity" space blocking the only exit of a room I had entered without a problem.
Sorry about that. I really am. It pains me more than it should when you guys have runs cut short due to crappy bugs like that. I'll be looking into this bug as I've had it mentioned a few times now. Not sure if I've ever actually seen it on my setup so I might PM you in the future, if you don't mind, to test if any fixes I make have actually worked.
I think I've encountered a bug while playing a few times as Storm Mage. Sometimes when I use Lightning bolt or Thunder clap, especially when I kill an enemy with Lightning blog, a nearby space will act as if there's an object there blocking movement and ranged attack. When I mouse over it the tile says "electricity." It doesn't happen super often but I use Lightning Bolt enough that it's happening ever couple of floors. Another issue I've run into is when an enemy is killed by a bear trap or on top of a flame vent and drops loot, I can't pick it up, i just attack the trap.
Thanks for letting me know. Will be looking into the lightning effect issue. The reason your attack the trap or vent is you have a ranged weapon equipped so its trying to disable it. I'm also looking into not having items drop on traps, stairs, portals etc. which should fix this issue.
If you're having difficulty figuring out what clovers you need from the museum, try screenshotting or snipping tool the first or second tier then whatever tier you're working on. Open both in Paint. Then delete all the clovers you don't have. Turn on Transparent Selection and overlay the tier you're working on over the completed one. Now all the patterns you need are clear to see in another color!
Thank you for your feedback!
