Have to agree that being able to turn the gun on and off would be really useful. Really painful when it blows all its ammo at the start, when you need it the least.
I have to say I found it extremely tedious playing this game, trying to order my guys to move somewhere, and they would start to move, then turn and attack zombies, regardless of where I ordered them to go. This made it extremely annoying to get them to go heal, only to have them move a square, and turn around start trying to kill a zombie just to go out in a blaze of glory. When I order them to flee and heal, they should flee and heal, not move 5 steps, ignore my order, and die for no reason.
This game really needs a speed up feature. Bad enough I'm forced to play this for my badge, but having to sit and watch it bounce around for ages while I can't control it or do anything at all is really tedious.
For those trying for the 12 minute mark, here is how I did it: Polymorph, Curse, Reaper, Swirling Blades, Soul Jar, Earthquake, all maxed (cept polymorph which was only lvl 2 at the time). This combo took me to the 25 minute mark, and I could have easily kept going, but got tired of it. Swirling Blades placed properly can fully clear 2 levels of anything less than the Sun King and the elite warriors. This ability will be your main killer. Reaper at max level is set-and-forget, as he keeps healing himself, and rarely needs to be replaced. Use poly to take out nasty mobs (especially False Prophets!)). Curse handles healers and slows down large packs, and Earthquake will let you keep their progress down for long periods of time, as well as clearing out any workers. Soul Jar spam becomes essential in the later game when you're on floors 5+, and it starts raking in 5+ mana a cast to keep your other spells running. Hope this helps some folks!
Biggest complaint is definitely the the enemy projectiles being black and blending in with the tree, the coins, and your own bullets. Makes it extremely tedious trying to keep windfall up because it can be extremely difficult to avoid enemy projectiles you can't see. Feels more like luck and less like skill at avoiding them.
Ya gotta agree, would have been nice to see the thing in forward, after completing it in reverse. Am I right that I went and killed her because she was upset we didn't invite her to the little bear party, and she trapped them away? I really can't be sure.
Enjoyed the visual style, but Memento this was not.
We will update the game today with the sugested tweeaks in the A.I., thank you for feedback
