Great game! Good music and graphics are ok. What holds the game back is the horrible weapon system and grinding needed to get enough money for upgrades.
Levels should be longer and enemy ships give more money, less negative effect drops and bonus drops should be more weapon upgrade type and not weapon change. Way too easy to accidently pick up something that I didn't want at all, especially when ships is upgraded heavily. There is an equip system between levels that easily could be applied to weapon systems.
Last major letdown is the size of everything.
Other than that the game is enjoyable and better than most games on Kongregate. 4 out of 5.
Not a bad game but it can become so much more.
Add a menu with stages (selectable) and level highscores. Each level should be rounder (as you have free direction movement) and larger. Could also add puzzle elements like keys, oneway corridors and more. I'll give it 3 out of 5 (instead of 2) because it's ok but can become great.
This game is actually a new remake of an old c64 game I played many years ago. It was fun then and is still but it don't stand the test of time that well. 3 out of 5.
I'm to lazy to really try it too... Did the first few ones and it's not very well made. Anoyed me that the text area in the "click here..." button isn't clickable. 1 out of 5.
Think this is better than the second one (FC2). The problem is that there is really no way of predicting the outcome of any one choice. It's basiclly select one and see what happens. 3 out of 5.
Get the feel it's an "graphical text based strategy story" but it falls in between story and strategy. The tactics presented in the game are more "go north" or "go west" and not tactical. Results of the choice really don't reflect the selected option of the gamer. 2 out of 5.
Played to level 10 and even though the game is not bad, level design makes it bad. Level 5 and 7 are both good example of that. They also give little room for testing and finding different solutions. 2 out of 5.
Game is very well made, fun graphics and audio. Way too hard and lives killed my lasting interest. I would like to keep shooting that squirrel around and keep restarting a level is inconvinient. 3 out of 5.
