I would really like to see some sort of technology chain and/or what is needed to progress to the next level. There were multiple times where I didn't know what I needed to build as I advanced forward since I'd forget what the requirement was after a year or two.
Otherwise, I've really enjoyed this game, and I'm looking forward to playing more!
Thanks ! I like the idea of a technology chain as a possible improvement for the Combo Codex in future versions. In the meantime, as a quick fix to the 'requirement' problem, here is the list :
- Age 2 to 3 : Tent : Fur left, Fur right
- Age 3 to 4 : Village Council : 1 Shelter, Speech only
- Age 4 to 5 : Parchment : Coal and Fur in sequence, only Speech, Command or Ephemeris.
Have fun ! :)
There's way too little practice with the lead necessary—I hit only one bear and somehow passed the tutorial. Also, when I upgraded my bow, the change in arrow made all my previous practice moot, and I got overwhelmed quickly.
I liked how the game worked, except for the waiting. This game requires too much waiting to build up the necessary money to get the next upgrade or attack the next city.
6. What's the point of adjusting Pull when the only things you can take on in groups are monsters that are too low of a level to give you any XP? 7. The achievement for Teldrassil doesn't register, nor does the completing all 1-10 level quests. 8. On multiple occasions, even though I've set my rest at 50% or 75%, my character doesn't rest between encounters. I think this is due to a second monster getting pulled just at the end of a battle, but the timing on the screen makes it look like two separate events. 9. Think about the balance of the abilities. An Arcane mage, for example, dies much more often than a Fire Mage, which isn't balanced out by the reduced resting time. 10. Allow players to invest points in higher skills even if they haven't maxed out the previous ones. WoW isn't all or nothing for skills!
Great start to the game! Here are my recommendations for improvements: 1. Make sure that if an area says "Levels 21-30," players in that range can actually quest/grind there. My Level 25 mage gets killed more often than not, and that's with two items granting +41 Intellect. 2. My character has been haunted by a phantom Darkshore Thresher for 10 levels now - it doesn't exist, but it's life bar (in the 2nd monster slot) is there. 3. Offer different item images so we can see which item is the new one we bought/found. 4. Allow us to equip items while at the shop. (Minor, but annoying.) 5. Offer something that reduces damage or speeds up your melee attack.
