I'll be completely honest here, I don't like this game.
Others might like them, and I won't fault them for that, but I just didn't enjoy playing this game. It didn't catch my attention, the gameplay was shoddy, something i'd only really tolerate in a philosophical game, however I didn't find any deeper meaning in this.
The art was nice, I suppose, and I guess that's really the whole point of this game, but it just didn't do for me.
Got attacked by an amalgram, within 20 seconds it turned into 3 amalgrams, within 30 there where 7 of them, within 40 I was dead and there were 10 amalgram babies and 8 fully sized ones dominating the screen.
I hate amalgrams.
Maybe i'm the only one who thinks this is complaint worthy, but it would be nice if we could shove the mercenaries who were at the edges of the bridge battle scene to kill them.
People who are saying that the message of this story is that the king is a bad person, i'm pretty sure you're not understanding this correctly.
In each case we've seen so far, the king's choices were completely correct (except for maybe the festival), and necessary. What the game is trying to say is that as a ruler, no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, your people will never accept your decisions, they will always think that they could have done better, and will spit on your name the second you do something that isn't perfect.
The king wasn't a bad person, not by a long shot. People in his kingdom suffered, and he fixed their problems, but because the people in his kingdom still suffered a tiny little bit because of his solutions, they decided to blame him instead of accepting that he had made the best possible decision.
"I am bartholomew, strongest arm in the land and skilled master of the blade!"

"And i'm bernard"
BEST. DIALOGUE. EVER.
The "tread lightly" level's button hit boxes are horrible. Once it activated when I started, just from the bounce you have at the beggining (I hadn't even moved yet)
And I'm sure you've already gotten comments about the ridiculous kill-zones for the razor blades. It would be very nice if you could actually fix the kill-hit zones...
*Enters the doom in hopes of getting the hard badge.
*Holds it for a while, but then accidentally goes too far forward.
*Leaves with 29 seconds in the doomsurf.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Judging from the amount of times i'be been killed for touching the side of a spike, I think we disagree on how exactly spikes tend to kill people. Good game though.
what should i follow to the killer? The bloody footsteps leading to that perfect hiding spot in the shadows, OR that perfectly clear empty walkway that no one could possibly hide in.
game is fantastic, but it would like it if it wasn't just a series of duels between my monsters and the others, i could have 3 fully upgraded spiders, rats, skeletons, ect... in a room and a single peasant, or boss unit, and they'll each fight him individually and have the chance of losing, instead of all three slaughtering the man in a couple of seconds
haha, lucky <3
