Umm, so I upgraded the employees for the second time, and when the new day came, I was down over 60k from employee costs and lost when the day ended... really cheap.
The level design should have been much smoother... If the player is good enough, they should be able do do the entire level in one take without stopping and waiting.
The achievements and messages for dying are a bit taunting. I know how to beat the level, I just keep rushing through while getting the hearts and dying. Stop telling me I don't know how to do it!
The knockback is ridiculous ; I was almost finished a level when I died, meaning I had to do the entire thing over again (which I'm not fond of). Normally this would be acceptable, but it's insanely difficult to skip back to where I was in later levels with all the platforming and way too many monsters and projectiles knocking me off of everything. It's annoying and not fun.
I feel like the jumping needs a little more love; being a major part of the game, it could feel a little more natural and the animation could be a little more complicated. But that's purely an aesthetic opinion, just a suggestion.
I can't believe you don't get any experience for going 19 of 20 rounds then losing... such a waste of time, and makes no reason to try anything on harder difficulties
Really game? The boss was always moving in spots I couldn't shoot him from so I took it slow and paced myself, only to learn that - when his health is about 1/16 - that they can escape? I feel really cheated now.
The lasers seem incredibly cheap to me: when they're different sizes when they go off and change as they charge, it's almost impossible to know which ones to avoid when they're coming all the time. I mean I never know if it's safe to cross one, there's no way to keep track of that many.
Nice art, but I wish there was a bit more to the gameplay, and that it was more refined (standing still to double hit is finicky, and it doesn't seem like I always hit).
I also found an annoying bug(?) where even though I muted all music and sound, when those green things die they still let out a loud grunt.
Yes, when you fix the car he he he
