luckily heroes don't cost too much.
if it bothers you that much, dismiss them and get new ones.
you'll be surprised how fast they can lvl up if you try.

undead is NOT counted as demons:
demon races are only found in the wild, and cannot be produced from a castle, or by any player. i would agree with arthur if only there could be more demon portraits.

it sounds like you have have a glitched hero.
however, try using him in a fight outside of the arena,
so if he keeps going back, you might have an army
that comes back. otherwise i would dissmis him.
yes. skeletons can bleed.
they have blood in their bone marrow,
which is the core of their bones.
this could decompose if it takes long enough,
but these skeletons are fresh.
