Same hatchet, so save before you try to upgrade, that's what I been doing.

I think in the cliff area it should be better exp because in cave I can 1 hit most of them and I gain about 53 million exp. Then in cliff area it takes me like 10-30 seconds I think, and I get a bout 80 million exp. So I get about 8-10 times more exp in cave than cliff.
