hellkiller: I've been able to get level 31 done in 5 steps. The major trick is to remove the center block in the third row from the bottom. That splits up the pyramid in half and allows the green block to land near the center in the resulting pile-up. You then just need to remove a few blocks to get the green to fall into the center, and then remove the horizontal bar to let all the rest fall. You may also need to then remove a block from the fourth row as well initially to ensure the green block lands near the center.
I agree about there being too many snake games - you need something to make your game stand out. One snake game I remember fondly from years ago had a level system - I think you needed to collect 10 spots to complete a level, and each succeeding level had a series of blocks to be avoided that made each level harder.
One problem is that the interval between pulses quickly reduces down to immediate, so you can just position yourself in the center to collect the upgrades, and simply hold down the space bar - nothing will be able to touch you.
Seems a bit basic. There are also problems such as the screen going white if you hit either screen edge. Also, the timer has a tendancy to speed up on replaying. And major not cool on having to pick a random flower at the end. :(
Not bad, but yeh, it doesn't really give me a thrill, and I have a problem with the character seeming to freeze frequently for a second or so.. I have to release the arrow key I'm pressing and start mashing it to get it to move again.
For level 35, remember you can insert new pieces between existing pieces, so you can put the bar below the triangle, and then use the small boxes to build up past it
Not a bad game, but the badge listings would be better if they had a "Best wave so far" and "Coins found so far" - particularly for the coins so I know how many I'm missing
