yeah if i like a game thats when im the hardest on it for things it does wrong, the more i like it the more criticism it'll get from me. and yeah i expected that the big leagues would be a little stale but that happens in every card game, drive to win suffocates creativity, which is why mtg has casual and competitive players, maybe this game should have a casual area where people are encouraged to make creative and interesting decks.
oh you know i completely forgot that since this is an electronic game you can still change cards, i was talking about all this thinking that these cards were set in stone like already printed mtg cards. i admit that on the whole this game is extrodinarily balanced, (one of the things i love about it)
and remember to keep players who play heavy arcane decks in check by not giving us too much starting sanity but high enough that it takes a bit of doing to drive someone who plays all 0 cost cards insane. i do like that you get twice the number of sanity points for discarding in this game though since skipping a turn is a pretty big peanalty.
ok heres how you perfect this game. bring back the old play system (only one creature, creatures only counter attack, insanity causes different effects but you can still play all your cards, you could keep suicidal as one of the possible effects though.) and add a deck builder and enough cards that people can make different and interesting decks, for example a deck that focuses on driving opponents insane, if they get suicidal or megalomania than its a success, if not you still gain a juicy advantage. a mobster deck, not as powerful but very low chance of insanity and good utility. and finally take out all this leveling up hooha and add in multiplayer. your game is still dripping with unharvested potential and i would hate to see the loving attention to detail and excellent balancing i saw in the first game go to waste.
this game absolutely oozes potential from every pore, but i lost interest after necromancer... gonna go play the sequel now and hope that potential is harvested there. btw really loved what youve done with the classic "sanity points"
arusdaryl you can field whipe malignant cells with thunderstorm or to stay in color, plague. if you have skullshield theyll only get in your opponents way so you can safely cast your alfatoxin on your opponents most threatening creature. so no i don't think killing off malignant cells would break flooding, if anything it would help the card be worth playing.
i know it doesn't effect water and i guess its fine that it doesn't effect flying weapons and cells (after all why should it) and i definitely get what your saying about not nerfing an already combo-necessary card since there's only a few ways you can use it as is. but suppose this game actually gets big (which i would absolutely love to happen) and more neutral creatures are added possibly along with a mark of quantum (2-3 random quanta per turn) for colourless decks and rainbow decks) than they would be afforded the same protection from flooding possibly undeserved, and flooding will nerf itself in the face to the point of complete uselessness and flavorlessness. plus the airborne mechanic really needs more utility instead of only doing anything in tandem with literally 2 cards (one of which your opponent has to play) and 1 keyword ability (which is only on a few airborne creatures). not that i would dream of looking to flooding to fix that
i personally think that flooding should not effect flying or water creatures, theres no reason neutral creatures should be immune, this card is seriously lacking in flavor. flying creatures can always land on a tree or mountain somewhere. certainly an airborne virus doesnt need to land...
i agree that you should be able to do more than just headshots though, in the mission where you have to kill the two guys facing eachother i tried to kneecap one of them and shoot the other in the stomach thinking i could finish them off while they were hurt... i am dissapoint.
first of all there is a way to "zoom out" it's called lower your goddamn gun like a real sniper! and there is a peanalty for missing but only if you shot close enough to someone that they noticed, lrn2 triangulate. awesome game btw scope was amazing graphics were interesting and storyline was par for the course.
That's a promotional version of the game. It lacks multiplayer, which is exclusive to Kong and my own site.
