Yeah - yinton1640 is right about the hard badge. 3 Shadowkillers, a devourer up front, and Juliet bringing up the rear, all gemmed up. Damage for shadowkillers, health and speed for the devourer (to get him out in front soaking up damage as often as poss) and damage for Juliet.
Thing is - Juliet randomly cycles between three different kinds of attacks. One heals everyone, one is a meaty ranged attack, and the third she just walks out and melees. If she does the third one, you will lose, she will die, and pretty fast at that. It really is just a case of repeating it until she decides not to be a mook - and if she doesn't, it's fine. Got to level 35 doing exactly this, no problem.
Why would a nuclear war destroy the oxygen anyway? I mean, really... there's no science behind that.
The mutant doom tree on the other hand, that I have no problem with whatsoever.
This game is epic. There's no other way to describe it. It is the Baldur's Gate of Flash RPG.
I don't really like Japanese RPGs. I much prefer Western ones. This game won me over. It is huge, detailed, exciting. Each character is perfectly designed, and the tactical options that open up as each one progresses makes combat a constant delight.
To those who say this is a Final Fantasy rip-off, I say this.
When the only games you can meaningfully compare a free flash RPG to are multi-million dollar commercial products, constructed over years by dedicated, professional development teams - THAT IS NOT AN INSULT.
If this game had been released in 1998 for the Playstation, it would have swept all before it. It is a monumental achievement, and the fact that it does not hold the top spot on every website's highest rated RPG list is a joke, a travesty, and a testament to the stupidity of twitch gamers and keyboard jockeys who think they have an opinion.
Superb.
