I don't know what it is about obscure looking, archic 3D models that's so absolutely chilling and mystifying...when that's coupled with grainy black and white film and raptors you know you're in for a good scare. Can't beat old style game models! E.g. Alien monsters in Resistance 2 - not scary; the butler in Tomb Raider 2 - brown trousers time. Point made :)
I know everybodies complaining about how you could just use the hammer to complete a number of the tasks you have to perform...but I think the game developers need a little bit of credit for the fact that they managed to give you a number of decent puzzles without resorting to mindless pixel hunting or really ridiculous solutions (the latter of which always really bugs me). 3/5 With some better animations and a more in depth plot this could easily be a 4, maybe even a 5.
Wow...why has this game got less than 4 stars again?? Nice idea. Beautiful music. And a personal round of applause from myself for the physics - loved the use gravity.
Really great game! Played it through to completion and was totally hooked throughout! A couple of suggestions though... 1 - It needs to have multiple difficulty modes. I enjoyed playing through it and owning everybody (by the last arena I was soloing every match and not even checking who I was against because I knew they didn't have a chance) but if I was going to play through again with a different class, I'd also want to try it on a harder difficulty setting and 2 - I thought overall the graphics were very good, but I wasn't a big fan of the cutscene graphics...the bitmap images looked a little low quality at points (possibly because some of them expanded and became pixilated). Only a minor point though...Looking foward to the next one!
Wow! I never usually go as far as saying something like this...but this is pretty much the best programmed Flash game I've ever played! Everything about it has been pieced together so lovingly, from the voiceovers, to the varied different ways you can interact with the objects and how they affect you depending on how you collide with them. 5 stars very well earned and a tip of the hat from myself.
Hey guys, to clarify - this game and the other three are meant to be three aspects of the same game. I'm doing a study into game elements as part of my university course and I'm basically just looking for feedback as to which elements people prefer. The gameplay isn't supposed to be anything particularly amazing (especially as this is pretty much the first time I've ever used Actionscript). But thanks for the feedback metagamer :)
I very much like this game! It's quite blazingly obvious a lot of time, effort, thought, planning and creativity went into the creation of this game. It's not perfect, by no means, but it's got so much potential. I've given it 4/5 because there are a few things that need work, but seriously, this deserves the work because this could quite easily be a 5. Quite easily.
Nice starting point, but controls were waaay too unresponsive and buggy, and the zombies seemed to walk through walls and trees and stuff...that was just really unfair and frustrating. 2/5 for now.
