Also, just a little thing, maybe add an 'are you sure want to leave' box when pressing 'quit' on the pause menu. I accidentally clicked it, and I kind of rage quit because I (obviously) had to start over again (The rage quit is just me, but I think the extra safety is a good idea :)
Nice game, though it annoyes me that (correct me if I'm wrong here) you can't change that melee fighter will automatically charge, sometimes I just want my front fighter to have a deflecting weapon equipped while throwing smely-stain items, so I can keep the enemy back while saving up for a heavy weapon, and then my front guy just runs off!
Loved that it didn't give you endless possibilties with only one being the correct one, just humping the walls all the time just shows allows you to beat the game without too much trouble and/or frustration. Great game, would like to see the concept in a bigger game, although that might just get a little repetitive, anyway, great job, especially for only having 48 hours. :)
I seriously love this series, one of the few games I just keep coming back to, just so I can finish it. I really hope you will continue these games, without making them too complicated (Not that they are now, but some series tend to get too 'full' because their creators wanted to keep adding things.) Long story short: Great job on this game. :)
I noticed that on some levels, it can be convenient to just go at instinct, and then, when that doesn't work, see what you did wrong, instead of thinking 'how' for half an hour. :)
Glitches:
1: There is no blockade between the 3d & 4th area.
2: When you abandon a quest when your Quest Log is full, the last one on the list just keeps popping up on the 'empty' spots.....
Unlike others, I don't think there should be a 'get 100 gaps in a row' badge, simply because that would make me spend the rest of my life trying to get it.... Or wait, maybe there is an in-game reward for that! *Continues Playing*
