I really like the game, but my issue is I just don't understand why certain things happen. I feel like I'm doing just about the same thing each time, but some laps I'll hug the inside track and blast ahead. Other times I'll lazily take the outside track and lose valuable seconds. I watch the guys in the top 10 and have no idea who to replicate or even try to do what they do.
Picking the most valuable lanes are important when playing. Adjusting your speed to get kicked into a more beneficial lane is crucial. The top 20 players have great patterns for low times. Race them and then try to replicate it. Also, don't just let off the mouse on the curves. Tapping the button keeps speed up.
You've definitely got some potential here, but I think the biggest issue I have is how often you have to reset. Usually the soft reset comes after a couple of hours of play, and then there is a big reward. I'm staring at the 8x -> 16x upgrade about an hour into the game, meaning I've reset 3 times already. I don't want to start over yet. I want to keep building this machine that is pumping out a ton of potions, but what's the point?
I would suggest a way to "skip" upgrades and work towards the next one. Let me sit at 8x, give me the option for 16x and then show me what the 32x upgrade cost is. If I want to put in more time to get to 32x then let me. Or let my money carry over from the upgrade. I need something.
Absolutely great, but I feel that the minigames actually took some away from the story. I would go back to your roots and stick to the fantastic story telling.
These ads have got to be fixed. So much of the progression in this game relies on those boosts, and when you tried 4 or 5 times to get an ad to play it's frustrating. We're trying to support you by watching these things, and you implemented them in a great way to make people want to click on them. I haven't seen a working ad in a couple of weeks now.
I wish there was a "test" area that you could test interactions without using money. Only have access to the technology I've unlocked, but so I can figure out exactly how something new works before blowing billions of dollars.
As mentioned before, would love some type of basin information when I'm looking at all of my mines on one screen. So I can glance and see where I need to upgrade instead of opening each one individually.
Could you add an option to remove the pausing when screen loses focus? Since the battles are all automated, I'd love to be able to do something else while the battle is taking place.
I feel like it's a lot harder to get vertical in this game compared to others. A lot of the powerups give you more speed, but I'm spending most of my time near the campers. Especially since the launch is also pretty low. I also wish it was a little faster to restart a new launch. Watching the camper sit there for a couple of seconds, and then waiting for the television to fade in before I can restart just adds up over time. And the descriptions could be a little clearer, I don't know the difference between the clown and slapstick upgrades.
