I found a little glitch. For those of you too lazy to finish the recruit campaign (like me), there's a trick to get the weapon. When playing the veteran campaign (the middle one), select the M249 (last gun on the list). it shouldn't be available, nor the shotgun before it. Then hit execute without going back to missions. You will start the mission with the XM104 Automatic Shotgun
I love saving up all your points, infecting everything, then spending all your points at once to get everything to shut down. then watching that one boat stranded in the atlantic squirm.
just pwn with pistol, get dual pistols, just keep playing a room sequence (stay at the top rooms) until u unlock laser gatling gun, then upgrade health. instant pwn
Hmm? no, we have a few sniper rifles, a couple light machine guns, a flamethrower and a laser gun just lyin' around, with no one usin' em, but you need to prove your worth with this sucky semi auto, low mag size pistol with almost no aiming capacity before you use them. sorry. not. haw haw haw!!
all right...so. there are a few things wrong with this:
you can buy a sniper, but no medic (or heal yourself).
You can call and air strike, but not get the air strike to come and kill everyone thats coming from the enemy base (or just the base).
You are a soldier, right? and...you only have a pistol. isnt an automatic rifle standard issue?
you can just sit there on the little hill shooting enemies, or turn your head a little and take out the enemies that are coming from a mile off with grenades!
how come I line up a shot perfectly (i am on a mac so I zoomed in) with the most accurate weapon, shoot, and miss?
