Tip for grinding. Go to level 7 "Intelligence" with any soldier you want to level up(this only works after you are a high enough level to easily beat "Intelligence"). Go to the edge of the broken bridge on whatever side you are defending. Crouch and take out guys coming on the bottom and top. You can often get 30+ kills before your teammates get the flag 3 times, and the enemy can't get anywhere near your flag unless you're a bad shot. Only have to leave the spot to re-up ammo.
Game is great until you get to having to catch sharks and then it turns aggravating really quick. Maybe make it a slight bit easier to catch them. I'm all for a challenge, but playing the same area over and over after a single species stops being fun pretty quick. Other than that just more upgrades like everyone else has said. Still 4/5. Hope to see either updates or a sequel in the future.
Having to switch between the hand to drag the screen and the pointer to select things get annoying fast. Maybe if the screen could be scrolled with arrows or WASD? Not sure how hard that would be to implement. Aside from that pretty fun game.
The new update is awesome except for a couple things. First, what exactly do the new boots do? Bought them and don't notice any difference. Also, I have had lots of dead on passes simply bounce off of my teammates, and then it says "chance missed." Is this a glitch, or do they just sometimes bobble passes now? and if it's not a glitch, then why am I blamed for the miss when my pass is on target and they screw up?
So, the game goes to a shootout, I have 2 assists, no goals, but also only one touch that wasn't a complete pass, I make my shot in the shootout, my team wins, and i get a -2 from fans??
@Warloard27...I said all my relationships have been at or near 100%, and since I've bought everything except the last 2 properties my lifestyle is pretty much maxed out.
@people complaining about your career disappearing, it's a problem with your computer or browser, not the game. There was a flash player update recently. Maybe that's your problem if you haven't updated yet. Playing on a career I started a few days ago right now, and reloaded the page before posting this to see if it would disappear...it didn't.
Is there anything you have to do to attract sponsors? I only have 5 sponsors and I'm at star rating 21, won the English Premier league last season, have had all relationships near or at 100% for 2+ seasons, and have bought everything except the last 2 properties..
Really like that the wind and distance come into play, but it's difficult to see when all the writing and markers on the scope are black, and the targets and parts of the background are black too.
Fun and infuriating game at the same time. Seems the balance is tipped too far in the favor of the AI. I understand probability and that unlikely runs will happen in dice games, but when they get 3-5000 point turns game after game(playing against reckless) while I get single ones and pairs of 5's over and over and over it's not just a run of bad luck. Of course all dice games rely somewhat on luck, but if they do too much so they lose a lot of the fun.
Are there springs in front of the goal? Strange when a shot with top spin bounces a couple yards in front of the goal and somehow manages to shoot up and bounce off the crossbar.
There is a bug when you pass and your player and the defender get to the ball at the same time. I've had multiple plays where I pass into the box, my player and the defender both seem to get to the ball at the same time, and the ball shoots into the goal, yet I don't get a goal, and when it goes back to the text it just says I gained possession and then nothing after. No goal, no chance missed, no you lost possession. Along the same lines I had a player on my team take a shot, it bounced off the post and came back to him, then it went to the text and the other team instantly got a goal.
Makes no sense at all for damage to not carry over when taking down the shields. The problem is compounded by forcing me to chain all possible attacks together. For example, if I have 5 vampires in a row, and I know that it's going to take only 3 to kill an enemy it's annoying to be forced to waste the other 2, especially if other enemies have the same color shield still remaining.
The updates have improved the game a lot, and it's still a 5/5, but the balance is still way off when you don't get very many touches, especially at the higher star ratings. At star rating 7 it seems nearly impossible to not lose points on a match if you get under 5 touches, even if you play those touches perfectly. There also doesn't seem to be any way to raise your number of touches. My team rating is high, and even if I also play well in the previous game it seems completely random whether I get 2 touches or 10.
If you are having problems with assists try changing the power and spin of the balls you pass to team mates. This effects where their shot will go. It's still a big of a guessing game, but you get more assists if you don't simply kick it straight at them every time.
