For all the people talking up Slay... it's a $20 game that looks like it was designed to run on Windows 3.1. I'll take a prettier, free game over that any day.
Sloppy job with the interface (nowhere to take notes, not enough room to keep things organized). Since all the game offers over a piece of paper is the interface, I don't see how this deserves more than a 1/5.
Really like it, but I just finished the 9x9 random, and the game doesn't end. I can still move the last piece on the board, and it just flies on forever. What gives?
Wow, this is boring.
Also, the art is really bad. The woman in the intro screen looks like she has a broken neck, and the male character's picture in the inventory makes him look like his chest has recently been opened.
It would be nice if there were some sort of hint system. As it is, I can't give it a great rating, as it's a direct ripoff of Funny Farm (http://shygypsy.com/farm/p.cgi)
