Wha? This became a search & click adventure? I hate those. : ( They never seem to make reasonable sense to me until some oddball combination is found. Really? Beans on a fire to get some beer? The previous version had more of a cause > effect relationship. Sorry. I'm disappointed. Others like it. Good for them & you.

@Matakukos: I agree with Rafael20x! This is a total ripoff of Upgrade Complete! Also 1941. Also Twin Pilots. Also Ikari Warriors, Double Dragon, Street Fighter, Double Dribble, Street Fighter vs. Marvel, & Mario Kart. It's a video game, done with computers, therefore it's just like Donkey Kong & Space Invaders. Heck, you keep score too, so it's like every pinball game ever made.

Do NOT take out the "glitches", where people can climb here & there. Expand them. It's not like any of hte glitches make someone invulnerable, it makes the environment more interactive. Do you think, in a situation like this, the best place to be tactically is on the ground? No, it's not. It's to be a defensible position. Also notice, when someone is trying to find one of these glitches they've very vulnerable. Even when they're in those glitches they're vulnerable. Expand, make it part of the game. I want a friggin' sniper on the roof!

Do NOT ADD - med-packs. They're incredibly unrealistic in ANY game. You get one life, play more cautiously. - sniper rifles. This arena is 100 yards at it's longest spot. If you want to shoot like a sniper, shoot SLOWER - add some crazy arsenal of weapons available for people to cart around. How fast & nimble do you think someone would be with a shotgun, sniper rifle, SMG, grenades, & 4+ clips for each one? PLEASE ADD - crouching & crawling - Weapons. But let them be a "package" deal pre-round. So you can choose the sweeper-kit, the runner kit, etc. - 1-hit kill. Yeah, they have helmets, so it could be an incredibly difficult shot, but still, coming up behind someone & pressing your SMG to the back of their head should require an entire clip-load of bullets.

The moment you can afford multiple heat towers the game lost all balance. 2+ heat towers at the beginning of a game +some ups = boringness. This game doesn't include anything fundamentally different. 2/5. A bit too mindless for a strategy/defense game.

Okay gamers, when it comes to a VIDEO game of the Sci-Fi genre, it's very important to make it AS REAL AS POSSIBLE. This includes making sure that logic, such as "humans in space" has a good reason & certain game-play features that make it "fun" are scrutinized by trying to apply real-world reasoning to a fake-world reality.

Maybe you should add an upgrade for the communication monitor. One that's a bit more shatter resistant.

If you launch a remote bomb but launch another type of bomb BEFORE detonating it, you can't remotely detonate the remote bomb anymore.

The "trigger" to open parachutes or detonate remote bombs should be a shortcut key as well. When you launch another projectile BEFORE detonating a remote bomb you cannot detonate the remote bomb already in play.

I like the non-grid FEEL of the map & placement. There are many simple TD standards that are missing 'tho. Such as some persistent visual feedback about the changes in tower levels (that you don't have to click on them to find out). Need some variation in enemy types. A music loop that isn't 8 bars long before looping. Slicker UI design & stuff. Good start.

This game... no it's not a game, it's a gaming commentary... an op-ed if you'd like, is insipid, patronizing, & filled with irreverent acheivements devoid of a plot or purpose. **golf clap** good job sir. Good job. 4/5

I'll agree the story & the game play seem a bit asynchronous. Considering the games I used to play I'm "past that" already. I like the game. I like the concept. The mechanics make sense in the "alternate" way. GJ.

Clean graphics. Appropriate sfx. Easy interface. Clear instructions. Not original. Only one level. Some ball colors are too similar to distinguish. Small screen. There's not even a "reset" button to do an easy restart if you don't want to save. 2 stars.

Sumamry of previous comments: (1) Keep the auto-engaging of enemies. It's more realistic. Unless you add 'squad commands' where certain squads are told to go to spot at all costs & sacrifice some to make it there. (2) Do not include "select all" but allow the base to give general commands such as "all go to location" or "all attack" or "all defend" etc. (3) Allow squads to have subcommands like "split/join", "push/pullback", "patrol up & back drawn line/path"

(1) I like the fact your squad auto-engages enemies it comes into contact with. That is more realistic. Maybe you could include a command to a squed that give it a setting to either attack any enemy or defend an area. That way it could avoid engaging enemies in transit but will receive damage from them as they pass by/over or possibly have to sacrifice a few pixels so they may pass through. (2) I don't agree with a "select All" feature at all. Perhaps if you click on the base you get a list of field commands that you can tell all your troops to attack/go to a certain area if they aren't engaged or to try to get there when disengaged. Also a cancel all general command options. That way you can have them all return to defend, go out & attack a certain base or defend an area.
