I like the way the difficulty increases - feel like the learning curve is well built in the levels. Just the right level of frustration when I send my horde of halflings to be decimated when the enemy pre-thinks my move :)
Lessee - finished with
Uni - Puppet - Trike
Drag - Gold Drag - Drag
Nice having the ranged back row as well as healing magic...
If one died, I just went back to a blue battle to recover the level - not a huge deal.
Clever - I like the use of color as a cue for games and the way games get "eliminated." Frustrating to have games disappear - but frustrating in a way that makes for good game play.
can't get past "Loading" - status bar goes through twice, then I get nothing but bouncing coins. Tried IE and FireFox; tried emptying cache on each; reloaded Flash on each. Never had this happen before...
Love it! When playing Defender, there were several things I thought, "I wish this had X." And Protector has all the X's and more. *Only* thing I miss is the graphical representation of the tower upgrades. I'll live :)
Oh...my...goodness. I haven't been able to get a sense of the gameplay yet because I am still laughing hysterically at the initial graphics and sounds I produced when I discovered I'm not really a tree... Wee - thanks.
