I have the 60,000 weapon, two gold trinkets, and all teammates maxed. I can't even get to nuclear apocalypse. Was fun for a while but i think i'll go play bush whacker 2 now.
those things that are supposed to "help" me- stone heads, bowling balls and the like- have done more harm than good. Villagers can sneak behind them, and this makes me sad.
twice in a row now i've bounced off the EDGEs of asphalt and wound up with a net gain of only a dozen yards or so. the so-called guideline said my ball would bounce off the asphalt and go forward....ignore that stupid line, new players.
I'm back (or rather, still here). In Mare i see a strong vorlon presence, so i'm guessing that Babylon 5 was a strong inspiration for this game as well?
The code that represents movement of people needs to be tweaked. I'm 38 days in, every single person in madagascar (my start) is infected, but there isn't a single case in the rest of the world- literally, ONLY madagascar is infected.
what's the point of leveling pokey up? as far as i can see the extra 20hp per level makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. Tesla and laser towers still wipe them out a dozen at a time. the only difference that 40 hp could possibly make is when you're attacking a low-level kovu tribe (or similar), and if you're still that early in the game, chances are you don't have the monster academy unlocked to level your pokeys in the first place....what a waste of putty!
okay, look. I"m on the first green level in the dark cave. in the time it took the first enemy to walk up and two shot me, i got a couple ice wands and a monkey. How is that fair? luck plays WAY to big a role in whether or not you win a green level.
i agree that the green levels are someone broken. For instance, I'd estimate 50 to 75% of my cards are bears- the one creature that i never use. Turtles and Roos, the backbone of my force, haven't shown up ONCE in about a dozen replays. Furthermore, if you get screwed by your card choices, a ghost can move through your force and then lick you to death in a matter of seconds. Other than these minor complaints, I've found the game engaging, well thought out, and enjoyable. My compliments to the designer.
