Screw this game! I don't even want to play it anymore! but i have to beat it, on principle. Judging by my ratio of resets to success, this is going to be the worst six hours of my life.
try building one collector at a time until you have four, then building a relay to claim the drone weapon. Build one drone at a time, sicking each drone on the little valley where the blob gathers. once you're got four drones keeping the blob at bay, you should be set to build at will.
it's true, some of the differences were way too hard to spot. In many cases, only blindly clicking around the hint was what found them, and even then I still didn't see what was changed. Still, I finished the game.
in my first mission for the buccaneer's guild, I was forced into a battle with four mercenaries in a vanguard ship. I couldn't avoid this battle, I couldn't flee, I couldn't defeat them. This is like playing final fantasy IV, leaving Castle Baron for teh first time, taking two steps, and being thrown into a Bahamut fight. That's just poor game planning. No excuse. 0 stars.
so, by my estimation, the character has about a 10% chance of actually doing what the player tells him to do. when I try to jump over the hole, he loses his balance and falls back into it. No thanks...:(
