Either switch if your low on ammo or want to use a certain weapon, (there's an achievement for a kill combo with switching) ,if the driver is wounded (flashing red) then switching to the healthy gunner to drive.also in early game one play strategy is to invest in the character switching perk, and constantly switch characters by trading out upgrade stats (like early shotgun smg combo) or just to have more weapon choice and driving skill overall.
I loved the first game, fun to see another installment.
I liked the extra touch that the audio switches speakers depending on who's driving at the moment.
A grievance this game gives me is that if you select a unit, or a purchase, and you accidentally slip off the edge of the flash screen and you immediately lose it. Especially when placing spikes close to the map screen this can cause unneeded frustration.
Other than that, blimey, I don't think I've ever spent so much time on a badge before. :P
This game has frozen up on me. I could play it earlier today, but now I can't get past intro screen.
Also, there's a MAD difficulty spike between Quest 2 and 3.
You say weakest fleet attacks first?
I'm showing up with 300 ships up against 600 and they fire first still.
Also, isn't that a bit broken? *technically speaking* I could beat a fleet, but can't because they have 50 less points than I do and hence shoot quicker?
