would be nice for global statistics: total power generated, total heat generated, total buildings constructed, total buildings destroyed, total buildings sold, total points researched, total time played, etc.
really cool game! layout strategy adds a nice layer to idle game. balancing is still a bit off, particularly on boiler house. lvl 6 boiler house sells ~135k, which at this point is useless (just unlocked thermo, grinding nuclear still). logical strategy for my to be able to implement thermo ought to be system of heat exchangers/heat sinks that pour into boiler houses, which would lead to increased generator capacity and minimizing the infrastructure. however, with boiler houses being scaled so low, this isn't possible. maybe i'm just misunderstanding the behaviors of some of the pieces here, but something seems off.
(side note - haven't had banks since that update, but the bank 'upgrade' slot still shows, but i can't even research banks yet)
right now: 4/5, definitely possible to pop this bad boy up to a 5/5 with some balancing/description updates
ok idle game...the mechanics for operating the gramophone are difficult for an "idle" game though, and the multiplier from the gramophone is too variable. 3/5
On top of this, there is the issue of scrolling the window in order to view the page. I have a large enough screen (19") to not warrant the necessity of scrolling for a game like this. I've read other users comments about this.
Totally unrelated: Can you implement a line in the popup info for the troops as to how much it will cost to buy x5, x10, and how many you'll be able to purchase with the max button? Anyways, like I said last time I made a comment, I really like this game. 4.5/5
I don't know if it's just my setup, but I don't have as much horizontal or vertical screen as what I see in screenshots from the original website. This makes a difference particularly with the mothership, speedster, and carrier. I have less "distance" to click on them. The most I've been able to get from the mothership is x22.3, while I've seen people who are able to get to x25+. I do not use an auto-click program, so I'm just tapping furiously (and of course I disregard any screenshots where the user had one).
i don't know if it's just my setup, but i have a terrible amount of lag from this game that makes it nearly impossible to play. there's a momentary freeze every 3 seconds (when a new hint is created) regardless of how many hints i have - so even if my hints are full, and i'm not actually producing hints, it still freezes.
Also, noticed that the Green supply box (X20 for aliens killed) does not stack the click bonus. I've been trying out a new strategy (that banked upon the green supply box) where my RPS is only ~5000, whereas my click bonus is ~100,000. So instead of gaining ~600,000 for each alien, I was only gaining about ~100,000.
Apparently the advanced researches don't stack on top of the basic research. I'm at rank 10, and can't figure out how to make quadrillions of resources in an effective way. Once I get my total RPS up to about 100 billion, purchasing troops is extremely expensive, and the advances researches just aren't worth it for the money either. I don't know if this is intended, but it could use rebalancing either way imo.
Also, love the mothership - could we get an aliens killed counter on screen?
The attainments seem pretty balanced, but could you make it differentiate between which ones you earned during that rank and which ones you had earned previously?
A preview for requirements to unlock advanced researches would be nice, too. If I had goals to aim for, I might be able to focus my efforts better. Overall, a fun idle game that engages the player enough without overwhelming!
4.5/5
the power/second ends up being misleading once you get to the later stages of any reset, as it gives the average/second, but that's across a lot of minutes for the titan and behemoth. maybe leave your total p/s but in addition include the individual creature's p/s next to the creature name
The next monthly contest starts some time ~31 of Aug. So a little after that date. Sadly this game was in the top 9 games of this month but got beat out. I hope with all the great feedback I got from everyone I can make it in the top 9 of next month :D
fun game. pace of upgrade is a bit slow. could use a record book (one of the achievements is "break 25 records" but i don't know what the records are) and a speedometer
was thinking separate speedometers would be nice, one for vertical speed and one for horizontal. the current one is ok, but it is total speed calculated at a vector.
When starting the game, I start off with 1 pop, which obviously goes into food production. The resource bar never changes. It reads as having 9 food with -1 production per turn. The growth bonus still works, and I'm able to grow my population, but there seems to be no food production. In contrast, I'm also not getting any starvation when I remove all farmers and distribute to everything else. This caps out at 5 pop though because land costs me NaNFood.
This is an issue I'm currently working on. For now the fix is using the reset data button from the menu...After the data reset, everything seems to be working okay. As soon as I have this completey fixed, I will patch it and let everyone know. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for the error report.
At start of game I'm getting NaN values for farms, not allowing me to build farmers (Max 0/0) and unable to upgrade Farm Lvl. I have reset my data several times and have attempted a few different things to try to get the value to change (such as upgrading the lord bonus). Nothing seems to work.
Im not entirely sure why, but the latest update seems to be causing some savefile errors. What worked for me was 1) Load the game 2) Reset in game data 3) Refresh the page. Not sure why this error but if it persists without a solution all saves will be wiped and started fresh.
Ok concept, but lacks anything to achieve...after about 10 minutes of playing, I've built up enough resources to click as fast as I can constantly without the threat of running out of resources. For instance, I had 350 merchants and I just started clicking, stopped at 1308 (which, by the way, it only displays the first digit for the number of merchants). Only reason I stopped was my hand was tired. At that point in time I was able to afford about 20 merchants per second, but could only click probably 3 per second. My food stocks were high enough that it seemed to my calculations that it would have taken me another 10 minutes straight at 3 clicks per second with the increasing food cost per additional merchant. And at that point I would have enough gold/wood that I could just do the same thing for farms and markets before heading back to the people.
TL;DR: It's endless, which isn't bad, but there's no goal, and the resources grow too quickly. Oh, and there's no use for iron...
Other than having a goal, I believe all of these issues have been addressed in the latest version. We sincerely hope you will give the new version a try.
Try with 1280x960 in your screen resolution. Thanks for the feedback!
