Controls are broken for me too, there's a comment being downvoted for no reason but I have exactly the same issue. Only A and D works and I need to use the spacebar to jump.
Honestly this is a bit of an issue to me. I understand preferring to use W to jump instead of the spacebar. But W is used as the UP key, which makes you go up or down the rope, you'd need to use a different key to jump from the rope even if I make W a key for jumping.
Consider a Webplayer build as well. Kongregate allows that. I would love to challenge myself with over 400 levels, but the true challenge today is to get these Unity games running these days...
Sorry you are having this problem. For most players this is a cookie/cache issue. Try deleting ALL realmofempires cookies, then logging back into Kong and joining the game again.

Still there is something that doesn't sound right. I hope the game uuh, I mean page gets removed. From the FAQ: I found a game that seems inappropriate… and something else that’s not even a game. http://www.kongregate.com/pages/help#games-q-2
I think I am adding games that are not on Kongregate which is making up a whole game so I think you kinda need look more into kongregate. I took so much time to check that these games aint at Kongregate and just to say this took 100 USD, but i get payed on my credit card back :D cuz the more gameplays the more i get played
