card-earning rate is apparently being changed in the future - chance to get a card will be higher for those with less cards in their collection, dropping progressively as one gets more cards, until reaching the current 3% which will be the lower cap.
ninja-ported or teleported characters simply don't do a wrong-range attack because it suddenly became absolutely impossible to even try. interrupted characters fumble an attempt and therefore waste energy.
evil_mario: the disavantage to switching out is getting intercepted for 35 damage. if you never know when your opponent is going to switch out, it's not the game's problem.
actually, seiferseed's explanation, while full of good intentions, is subpar. level = something you achieve by # of wins, regardless of against who, and regardless of # of losses. so someone can have, say, 250 wins and 1000 losses and he'll still be level ten, same as if he had 250 wins and 100 losses. it also doesn't matter whether one was only playing against n00bs or against the top-ranked players. and for the last time (oh, how I wish): "luck" plays a very, very minor part. these people who think it boils down to "luck" are basically playing blind-folded, and as such they are, indeed, very "lucky" when they actually win - since a half-decent player will beat them most of the time. of course, a match between two players who fail to recognize any semblance of strategy and pattern-reading in kongai will always be decided by "luck", or, more accurately, random chance, since we're talking about two BAD players who understand next-to-nothing about the game.
corny? that one guy who gets pwnd by amaya, of all people? can't be THAT tough. his only real scary move is pilebunker, and it's very slow and quite expensive. hypnotic counter is the almost-scary one, but there are many, many ways to simply ignore it and just focus on not getting pilebunked. he's a monster in an experienced hand, that's true, but so is almost half the cast.
pleasedpig, just because you are probably awful at this game it doesn't mean it's a crapshoot - because it isn't. (you saying it's a "diceroll-watching crapshoot" or something like it is a pretty damn good indicator you aren't understanding it as much as one is averagely expected to). a good, experienced player will beat a newcomer most of the time, and with relative ease, very often not even having to bring all three cards into play, even including the occasional "sweep". the door is open, you can leave at any time, try not to get intercepted on the way out.
from the very bottom of pandora's box, just before hope got locked inside, the last thing to come out and poison the world was the "nerf switching!" mentality.
aerow: 1. if poison dart gets buffed, tafari becomes absolutely unstoppable. 2. leaf trap is far range and it disables a LOT of options, can put a dent is most "kill tafari" tactics - and it lasts quite long, to boot. 3. and 4. hiding to set up an ambush means at the very minimum a 20 energy gain since the experienced player will step away, and then tafari is free to spam poison darts while - with few exceptions - the opponent quickly runs out of energy (not to mention setting himself up for a leafy trap if needed). tafari is fine enough, and serves his purpose perfectly: he's a closer, you bring him in to beat someone who is already somewhat weakened. only ambrosia is free from getting pwnd by tafari if you use him properly, and maybe juju with his healing depending on how early you bring tafari in.
I'd create a character card which is invunerable to all damage and which kills every other card, on play and on bench, instantly, with a 30-energy move. this card would also share tafari's innate, that is, enemies can't switch out. then I'd give this card to all these people who just complain that "I cant win this game suckz hard swichting out is teh suk why they do it I nevah intercept tis is broken ps3 is so much better than kongay", and throw them all in a special lobby for special people with special needs. gee.
roguewolf, wonky screen scrolling is not a glitch, it's a feature. and an amazing one at that, it's the end of the world as the dinos know it, for crying out loud.
