the numbers should allways white out when setting the X, not only when your choice was correct. else you can use this to cheat a bit.
like if you have 2 possibilitys for a row you can test both and when the numbers next to the row white out you know your choice was correct.
you have to give quick, simple commands to units and i have to draw lines for the units, instead of clicking to the point directly? and i have to wait for the circle to become big enough to target all units, instead of just click-dragging 1 square around them? i get that the controlls are suppost to distract you from the fact that there is nothing else special about this game, but the controlls dont fit with RTS at all.
nice game. but maybe a counter of all the numbers on the field would be nice so you know without counting them all together how much you need to add or substract to the next full 10th.
That's an interesting idea ebsberserker! I'll definitely take that as an inspiration for any future game! The trick I use for the current game is reduce the amount of numbers I have (by getting easy 10s) and then it's easier to add up and work out the math.
the ai is too easy to trick , once the game starts you take over a planet real close to you and they ALLWAYS send half their units into the shield and you win easy : / else great game
I made this game for the Ludum dare in 10 hours. The theme was 'entire game on one screen' and this was the best idea I could come up with.
