It would be nice if rocks had a set (or at least a random set) of gems (diamonds?) each provided. As of now, the better your pickaxe, the less number of gems you get because their fewer hits. The number of gems should be somehow related to the amount of damage you cause to the rock on each hit.
For example, say you have a rock and it takes you one hit to kill it with a good pickaxe, you have whatever chance of getting 2 gems. With a crappy pickaxe, you get a lot more gems. Of course, it takes longer to get rid of rocks... but you gain a lot more gems.
The warehouse stuff still needs some serious work. It basically stops all progress even with the part 1 update. Hopefully part 2 fixes it, but it basically makes the game unplayable once you hit town 3.
at first I was thinking that the balance is off. After two days, I realize that there are just too many variables to even make that judgement. The warehouse stuff is a little bit annoying though.
Consider Warehouse as another variable for upgrades. If it could be upgraded for ever it would be unbalanced because you would get unlimited Material and Energy boosts :) We wanted to give an extra touch with that warehouse. Hope that you like it !
These are always short and simple little puzzle games that I enjoy. No ridiculous puzzles, no pixel hunting, and most of the time everything is fairly logical.
Some things that would make this a little better:
1. show highest number of matches hit so far (maybe with a reset)
2. show which ticket wins the most/least
3. average out the $/s over a minute or 10 seconds or so
4. allow tickets to be randomly generated
It's a fairly straightforward point and click game. Sometimes the translations are pretty amusing. For example, we learn that John Anderson is a cross-dresser.
