I think supercooking should guarantee an output of at least one of your menu items. Waited quite a bit, as the cost scales so quickly, only to have a functionally useless roll.
It's fun! Tooltips would help for informed decisions on upgrades. Some upgrades are vague, with effects not instantly obvious. I do think it's good, even charming, to crack mechanics by trial/error (vs. being spoonfed strats, many idles guilty of that), but these are obtuse to the point of distraction.
After I prestige'd some and got high rings quickly, I stopped even trying to buy cleverly; the Page 1 buy button makes choices for me. So the game makes it a nonissue, but not in a good way. More, "well, I guess I'll stop trying to figure THAT one out. Bar's dropping more quickly, anyway."
Clearly the dev put work into each upgrade, and some I had to grind quite a bit for the first time I reached them, so that's a shame to me.
Also, prestige math would help. Tbh, it's still a mystery to me.
I like the visual and the idea. It's an idle that you can play actively, but leave it and you'll get a satisfying Z press. With polish, this one can hold its own in this super-saturated genre.
