Cool game but the tutorial is way too long and generally obnoxious. There doesn't need to be a thorough explanation of every single feature in the game.
Also, the microtransaction thing is a huge turnoff.
Pretty good otherwise.
One of the things I really appreciate about this game is that it's playable for more than five minutes at a time. The complete lack of an "energy" system and relatively quick resource regeneration make this game playable for as long as one wants. It's still a pay to win type of game, but not nearly as bad as most other online games on Kong. 5/5
This is a pretty awesome game. At first glance it doesn't seem too special or unique, but spend five minutes playing it and you'll see just how innovative it is. Also, from what I've read the developer actually listens to the players and tweaks the game accordingly, that alone is worth 5 stars. Truly awesome, 5/5!
Great game, everything about it is awesome; however I keep having an issue where my character will start walking in one direction indefinitely and won't stop for quite a while. Sometimes he won't stop period.
Definitely a fun game, but the time limit makes it feel a little too restricted in my opinion. That said, I liked the different endings and the fact that the trophies give rewards for subsequent playthroughs.
One of the best dungeon crawlers I've played on Kong, the only suggestion I could think of to make it or a sequel better, is more variation on the dungeon layout.
The same nine room dungeon pattern gets stale fairly quickly, everything else is perfect though.
I love people complaining about the whole paid content thing.
"Here's this game that a single person poured hundreds of hours of his life into, packed with enough content to qualify as a paid indie title, not to mention all the little secrets and extras that will keep me playing for hours and that a vast majority of the content is completely free to use; but I'm going to complain that a few things are withheld until I pay a (very reasonable) amount of money!"
"Gee I wonder which game series inspired this game" - No-one ever.
Seriously though, it's a pretty fun game, there need to be more Diablo-like flash games methinks. Could use a little bit of polish in the visuals, but overall not a bad game, 4/5.
Was great fun at first, but quickly falls into the same rut that most other multiplayer games on Kong fall into. It gets to the point where you either need to pay real money just to keep playing at a reasonable pace, or wait hours -- even days at a time just to take a few simple actions.
I realize that developers need to make money, but designing your game so that the player is constantly pressured to give into micro-transactions only makes people not want to play.
Just a random question: Does anybody know what the level cap is/if there is one in the first place?
I always get bored around level 50 or so and rebirth, so I've never been in a position to figure it out myself.
So, after spending some time getting to know the game a little better, I have to say: This is a fantastic idle game!
Really, great job! It's very rare that a developer not only creates a great game, but also listens to the input of the players, just for that you deserve a medal. If I had any money, I'd donate kreds.
Bear with me since I just started playing, but as far as I can tell, there aren't any shops from which to buy things. This should be changed so that if somebody like myself accidentally breaks their best weapon whilst upgrading, they can quickly by a new one.
I really wish you were able to keep some weapons after a battle. Maybe there could be a sort of weapon repair mini-game where you operate the pedal on a grindstone; to much speed breaks the weapon, but if you go too slow you only make it more dull; something like that would be cool.
I got a fighter in the first coliseum for around 600 gold; he had 720 mp.
Something tells me that's a bug... not that I'm complaining, mind you, just thought I would share it.
I liked the part where you rated 5/5.
