I swear the duel with the last gunslinger was something out of a movie for me. I shot him in the stomach, he shot me in the stomach, and then in the head, I was still miraculously alive and had one bullet left, and sent it straight to his head, killing him instantly. I had like 1/8th of a health bar left.
Played the game some more and found a way around the whole reputation issue; I've got about 2 billion reputation now. The only problem I'm currently facing is to get my monsters to perfection. It gets really tedious near the end.
I'd like to see a sequel with some improvements, like the ones a bunch of other people have suggested.
I'd say 4/5.
There should be a way to turn down clients or at least make the drop in reputation not be so drastic.
That or a free mode where you can just discover all the monster types without worrying about clients.
*Spend fifteen minutes painstakingly infiltrating the enemy defenses and silently killing them. Make one wrong move and need to have my spy evacuated*
*Retry mission with my veteran, spend two minutes blasting the shit out of everything and lead my team to a glorious and flawless victory*
I now know why Rambo was so damn successful.
PSoD is pretty amazing. I went from level 475 to level 532 over night. One thing I miss, however, are the red coins. Why take them out? They were awesome.
Just a couple things:
1. Every guest seems to complain about there being a lack of very expensive luxuries the VERY MINUTE you get them. My rating goes down because I'm trying to maintain my hotel while some idiots keep flapping their jaws about an open air cafe, while another group of idiots seems to be giving me a bad rep because they had to wait in line to get food. God forbid!
2. Seriously, I either go out of business by not buying all the expensive crap that everybody seems to want, or I go out of business because I bought the expensive crap, but everybody complains about some minor issue with it.
3. Needs more cowbell.
Otherwise it's a pretty good game.
This is a pretty creative game.
Though, like others have said, it would be nice to have a little more control over what happens. Also, leveling bonuses.
Fantastic game, seems like it was inspired by a lot of awesome survival/RPG/zombie games that I love. One complaint though, I think storage should have a lot more space, I always find myself debating over which weapons/gear I should keep and what I should trash, as my storage is always filled with achievement rewards. Keep up the good work, though!
A few tips for Zombocalypse, first off you should keep the front lines of the zombies as thin as possible, and once they start to overwhelm you, focus on thinning the incoming crowds and the attacking swarms simultaneously. It's a little fricky, but if you do it right you should be able to last long enough to at least get the achievement.
Thumbs up to make me feel better about myself.
I mean... to help other people... and stuff...
