Saving does seem to be wonky.
I lost my saved progress several times, both on my desktop and on my laptop. All other Kong games I checked kept the progress... except Frantic 3.
Annoying, really.
Intriguing, story-heavy, and more than just a casual timewaster.
Interface needs work. Like, a lot of work.
Fitting inside the browser window is the first step you should take.
Okay, here's a specific bug that has persisted for me over the years and several different machines: sending favors. I don't get to choose the friends to send favors to unless and until I "Accept all and send". Just trying to send from the friend list (or any other way that the one specified above) does nothing.
Came back after about four years. Nothing - literally nothing - has changed. The same features, even the same bugs. Still kinda sorta worth playing. 3/5
What is this? I got the Midas watch... then I got it again because one letter disappeared... and now I don't have it again, and the same letter is missing again. One more try and I'm out of here.
Yeah... when will Kong ever have an interesting beta ever again? This p2w crap is getting really annoying. I do understand that developers need money, it's just that lately we don't see anything but this...
The fights are so excruciatingly slow that I nearly gnawed off my foot waiting for a round to finish. Turning off fight animations? ... Not to mention the extreme p2w pressure. Would be cool without that crap, though.
The distinct lack of any customization whatsoever is rather telling. Just slap it together and hope to profit. Not too bad, to be fair, but not a keeper either. 3/5
Yeh, confusing. Things are happening and I have no idea how, why or what the effect is supposed to be. Missing vital information and statistics, plus a guide to make sense of the numbers. Not very exciting at the moment.
Instead of focusing on the numbers - which will be clarified in my next update - could you tell me where the interaction is weakest? For example, I'm thinking about replacing Alpha/Beta/Gamma with more exciting moves to perform.
@Atalan: it's not so bad. 1/ you can prepare before logging off (mening you do NOT hire Brath the Merciless) and if your dudes die while offline, you can do Dark Ritual right away and re-hire them. 2/ Most people play PvP through the Clans menu.
Several attempts needed to load and start the game. Strike one.
"lightning fast matches" - um, no. Strike two.
... I didn't go past that.
Admittedly, no fan of CCGs.
Okay, no. starting an 8-hour quest, when I come back the next day (some 22 hours later), there is no quest to finish, rewards to pick up, nothing. 1/5, not even bothering to finish the medium badge (been at 54,547 value for three days thanks to this...).
Hi eijiwolf! don't forget to reset(claim fee) frequently and it is important the decision when you use your payouts to see an a lot faster progress :)
