I'm not one opposed to change, but if you've got something that works, there's no reason to completely change it. The awkward scrolling, rotating BUY buttons and the lag (oh God, the lag) have really turned me off to this game. I'd just recently hit 2000 of everything and was looking forward to the next update, but I'm sincerely disappointed and unlikely to continue playing (as if I could... did I mention the lag?)
Not my favorite type of game, but I'm always willing to give a game a shot, especially if there's a badge. Came real close to quitting before I even got the easy badge though. I'd like to leave a comprehensive list of everything I didn't like about the game, but really, it's everything. From the blatant kred grubbing pop-ups and game design, to the annoying music and boring gameplay, this one isn't worth your time. Take the few minutes, get the five point badge, give it one star, and don't ever come back.
It's not a hard badge in the sense that it is hard to master the requisite skills to achieve it, it's a hard badge in that it's really hard to stay awake long enough to persevere and get the lucky bounces you absolutely require to reach the arbitrary 700k.
A good CCG game that unfortunately succumbs to the same problems that many micro-transaction games do: those willing to pay actual money gain a tremendous advantage over those who do not. I get it, that's the idea to get people to spend money, but a better balance needs to be struck. It's incredibly frustrating to gather, buy and fuse cards and build a thematic deck with a strategy, only to get curb-stomped by anyone that builds a deck out of unrelated legendary cards that are just simply overpowered enough to overcome the typical lack of strategy and skill by most users.
I don't normally comment on games but felt compelled to offer my kudos to the developers on this one. Fun game. Challenging, but not too, too difficult. Enjoyed the whimsical plot tying it all together.
