I tried this game when it first came out and didn't like it. Can't for the life of me think why though, this is brilliant.
Thank god for badge of the day making me try old games again.
I'd be the first to admit I'm not great at these tile swapping games. Just don't have the knack for it. But that shouldn't be a problem in an RPG style setting. With a little bloody mindedness (which I have by the cartload) I should be able to power through, even if I'm playing each mission a dozen times.
Unfortunately, when levelling up doesn't improve the heroes, this is not the case. And it gets to a point where I'm just banging my head against a brick wall. 0 game balance, 1/5 from me.
Very close to magic the gathering. Which I mean in the best way possible. I've yet to find a card game as good as magic, but don't fancy paying for it online ;)
Maybe I'm missing the point or something. But I thought I'd head down the dark beastie route, and use Sisily with high empathy. By the time I reached the third mount the most useful thing I had found was that I could just keep using the first if I wanted. In terms of its special it seems more useful than the second, and the third runs out of energy by half way through a level.
Just a minor gripe. I just want to get back to the ground and bounce up again. There's only so much fun to be had picking up the spares you left behind.
Nice game, until the menu screen froze open. With that little X broken there seems to be no way to close it, and it overrides all other menus, like the save menu.
I had it in my head that the centrosome was for division, though it might connect with the organisation of the cells internals. Otherwise going well so far :P
