The whole "premium this, premium that" shoved down our throats gets on my nerves. Half the game modes locked due to lack of kreds: BAD. Inferior weapons for kreds: DOUBLE BAD. Cheat items for kreds: TRIPLE BAD. The whole shebang is worth two full points. 2/5 instead of 4/5.
Oh yeah, I just fell out of the world. Last one was fun, this one seems to be a sloppily patched together sequel designed to cash in on the last one's success. Delete this game and program a REAL sequel. 1/5, I'm going back to part 3, thank you very much.
Deendum: Air units are vastly overpowered. Either make AA towers worth their money, or tune air units down to ground unit level. If half your towers can get destroyed by a single bomber, the balance is off.
Why is that game planned to be nearly unplayable? Later levels can't be beaten without replaying the first and second levels over and over to upgrade the weapons to full level.
Needs accurate collision detection, tolerable graphics and something that makes one play more than once. 2/5 for effort, but there's a lot of room for improvement.
Can't say I totally agree with you but, hey, each to their own! You have to put in combos a little too often, I'll admit, but there'd be nothing to the game without them! Slower energy regen and longer lasting perks would be the way forward if I was to redo it (I'm not going to right now, the game was never the main focus).
