Mediocre gameplay, repetitive levels, boring music, no real bosses. On the plus side, the engine looks and feels solid. For your next game, don't put all variation into weapons and upgrades. 3/5, solid but stale.
Nice little game. I'd add a few enhancements though. Firstly, it feels a bit like Uridium, so it should have a landing sequence after the boss. After all, how can you control a space staion if you don't land on it? Secondly, Arcade Mode needs more levels. Maybe procedural generation could keep the size down. Also, more and switchable main and sub weapons. Feels great, but a bit too short. A solid 4/5. Oh, and PLEASE add a color switch for the bullets!
Finished the game. Commendable effort, revised my rating to 3/5. Balance your missions better! Having a real final mission and an ending sequence would be fine too. All in all, the game design itself is solid, but little errors add up. Having an infested artillery turret might be a fine asset, but it would be even better if it didn't proceed to kill your own base by accident. Having infested small turrets only produce spores might be a balancing issue. Hotkeys would be fine too. I look forward to the second part, which could become a really epic game.
Me again. I gave the game a low rating despite promising gameplay. First of all, IT DOES NOT SAVE. Whenever I restart my browser, the saved game is lost and I have to start over. Secondly, the spelling errors make it supremely unimmersive. Get someone with English as their first language to redo that. Thirdly, the game only registers clicks when it feels like it.
There is a fine line between difficulty and frustration. This game crossed it around level 4, when it started to pretend that I had sold my towers. 1/5, wish I could give an even lower rating.
Just qualified for Combat Master I, Minimalist III and Bullet Sponge all at once, but only Combat Master I was awarded. Please check your achievement conditions.
Some upgrades I'd propose:
1. Upgradeable retro boosters to stop drifting.
2. Multiple shots. Maybe different, switchable weapons instead. A shotgun, for instance.
3. A mineral magnet that really makes a difference. Upgradeable too.
Thanks. We're working on it.
