There isn't really a rampup from easy to difficult. It just seems like you made a bunch of levels and threw them out there. I would have been a much better game if you paid attention to that.
Has a lot of potential. There is too much inertia making the player hard to control. There is also a bug that makes you unable to shoot and be hurt by lasers until you get hit and killed by an enemy bullet.
Nice game. Great music. Since you do stand to make money from this game isn't it considered a commercial work.? Since you're using a full music track from a commercial artist did you get express permission from them beforehand?
The collision detection needs work. Controlling the dog feels like being in one of those nightmares where you know you can move faster, but you're only able to run in slow motion and can see that the monster is going to get you way before you can do anything about it. The bad hit detection and the frustratingly sluggish movement ruins a game that has much potential otherwise - 2 stars.
Decent game at first, but gets annoying fast. Don't rely on cheap tricks like making the ship invisible or makes it hard to control. It feels like you're making the player weaker the better they get. A good game should feel like it's rewarding you for playing more not punishing you by lessening the control you have over the game. I gave it a 3 because it's pretty polished. I would give it a 4 if you didn't rely on game mechanics that punished the player.
Really nice concept, but hideous graphics and music is not for everyone. Would be better to have a tutorial rather than instructions screen and better if the game started off easier and gradually got harder, with emphasis on gradually.
The graphics are simple but effective. The sound loop is too repetitive. The collision is definitely bugged. I give it a 2 for the too simple falling balls, the buggy gameplay and overly repetitive sound. I would give it a higher score if the collision worked and the balls had more interesting movement like bullet patterns from a shooting game.
Would be more interesting if the balls did something after you hit them. Graphics could use work. Gameplay was annoying - cheap tricks that punish you when you get a "powerup" are no fun. 2 for effort.
It shouldn't keep asking you to leave the game to play other ones while you're in the middle of playing. Music is a bit annoying. Graphics are dull. Controls are annoying. 2 for effort, otherwise a 1.
