as a tower defence i like it more then gemcraft, it was too complicated, difference between towers nearly none, and if you wanted high score instead of towers you used gems to bomb them to smitherness...
i love this! nobrainer! just put and upgrade the area towers in key points, some supertowers later near the goal and your good, but the fun still stays (upgradeing, building, looking for places to put towers, sending as many waves as possible... :D love it)
traps useless, turrets too, weapons needs some work, no penalty for letting them through, easy to repair the ballon midway the game (with a shotgun), found no use for the fortress exept for hideing from enemys which is kind of lame... kind even shot from up there... not to mention nothing actualy damages it so repair station is useful only for building (and fortress while tryeing to escape asap?...)
VERY good game, though note that a lot depends on the maps. bought the full version too, and its totaly worth it. just one note for developers - please make some option of setting limit on mortars, so that they wont fire on creep thinner then - ... . cause most of the time mortars waste energy so i use them sparingly, but if this was the case it would be the ultimate ´keep-creep-in-check´weapon.
finished on the first try, no continues... yeah, needs some upgrades or so, and moreterraforming! i played it just to see the planet change and how it will look and i loved it :D jsut make it longer with someupgrades or something and it will be great :) 4/5
Entlee, i FARM legendarys. Hydra - heads cant oneshot my man, if both heads hit one i jsut cast revive. Minotaur - harder, but still doable EVEN WITHOUT 110% blid i got for legen creatures (head, staff, legen chest and not-really-mage cloak), and as for medusa, cleric can heal it (yet again, god bless blindness) :) truly, easy.
P.S.S i hope you do realize that healer specced armored priest cna heal, tank AND use litany of pain to finish off whats left do ya? (con sidering you give him some quickness that is) AOE RULES!
or saying to use some defence stuff on mages... lol, only priorities are power regen, quickness and int, no other stats are needed. Though get at least one item with HP leech btw, with the storm that heals a lot...
Ok, i saw some guides to the game and i dont get it, really. After my very first play i found out, that with one cleric as a tank and healer in one and 3 mages you can AoE down anything in one turn. get mages quickness and power regen and these bastards will act first with a triple elektrical storm which wipes out nearly anything, unless it ofc misses or enemy is extra armored or a boss. in most fights i jsut engage, throw 3 storms, and finish whats left, and that, believe me, isnt much. I ahve seen absolutely ridiculos builds like mages only for enscrolled blades (yeah, they rock, but i dont need them at all and they are NOT better then storm). How come nobody noticewd this? seems like easymode to me...
a litte warning though, do not amke this too complicated! add inventory for partsor maybe quest items, valuables or so but dont make too amny of them, also dont make this a trade game. The Upgrades menu is not needed and even if you make upgrades make some simple interesting ones... not like flat dmg increase or so, for this stuff there are parts. Spawn nbot sure what that means but if you want to make a mothership kind of ship then tahts OK, but jsut bake some parts taht spawn them and/or upgrade them so that you CAN create a mothership, but dont have to. also - my ship is full of beams and speed boosts. i dont see a small fast ship possible cause of all the beams and rockets enemys have and small dmg output, if you cna make a fighter build possible.

this game ROCKS! jsut make some inventory please, dragging the parts is a pain in the ass.. but really, this game is great + has really big potential. i love the auto targeting adn shooting :D 5/5 to encourage, 4,5 for me now :)
P.S. when i have done the capitol quest it sayd it unlocked some kind of bonus pack... how can i open it/use it or what it is?
